• Why did we start Chuckanut Tide FC?

    • To offer competitive soccer playing and training opportunities for kids in Bellingham and the surrounding areas.
    • Address high drop-out rates in youth soccer and sports.
    • Interest in youth soccer has grown, but infrastructure and leadership have not kept pace.
    • Create a player-focused, community driven club to remove barriers to participatikon and keep kids playing through high school

  • How many training sessions per week?

    Starting the second week of June, training for the season begins. We train 2x per week, summer months are outdoor, and fall and winter can be any mix of outdoor on turf or futsal indoors.

  • When and where are games?

    • Two summer tournaments 
    • WPL fall season is late August beginning to mid November
    • WPL Spring season starts in teh beginning of February and goes through March
    • WA Cup for U11-U14 is two weeks in April, group play in Tukwila and finals in Pasco, WA
    • U11-U14 play both seasons
    • HS age teams will break for their HS seasons
    • Regular season games are played up and down the I5 cooridor.

  • Are there Team Managers?

    No, coaching and admin staff will handle the scheduling and logistics.

  • How can I be involved?

    • Each team elects a representative to the Chuckanut Tide Board
    • Coordinating Social Events for the team
    • Helping on the various committes
    • Helping transport equipment to games

  • What is the cost?

    • Membership fees are set at $1650 for the '26-'27 season.
    • $200 deposit is due at time of roster acceptance
    • Siblings get a $200 dollar discount
    • Membership fees cover coaching, field rental, insurance, referee fees, tournament fees, league fees, coach travel and other expenses
    • Uniforms are required and are currently around $350 for the base kit

  • Fundraising

    All players will be required to sell (20) $10 tickets for our annual raffle that will take place in March. 


    This provides the club with funds for scholarships and club expenses to keep tuition down for all. At least 50% is allocated for scholarships alone.
